Introduction to CIIFF
电影是人类造梦的工具，亦是促成跨文化理解的最佳途径。暨中爱两国建交四十周年之际，第一届“中国爱尔兰国际电影节”将于爱尔兰首都都柏林举办。本次电影节将以电影为载体，以“一带一路”为核心，意在加强中爱两国间的文化传播，书写中爱文化交流的全新篇章。
中国爱尔兰国际电影节旨在将当下最优秀的中国电影人与电影作品引荐至爱尔兰，让中国电影走进爱尔兰的同时，也得以让爱尔兰观众更直观的了解中国，感受中国。
本次电影节的展映单元将囊括数十部优秀剧情片，纪录片与短片作品。我们也在此公开向中爱双方的电影人才征集优秀短片，具体参赛要求请参照“短片竞赛单元”窗口。
此外，中爱国际电影节将促进中爱双方电影团队进行对接，并就未来的多方位合作进行深入交流。在促进项目合作之余，电影节同样意在为中爱影片的互相引介提供平台。

Film, as a tool for dream building, is the best way to promote cross-cultural understanding. On the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Sino-Irish diplomatic relations, the first China Ireland International Film Festival (CIIFF) will be held in Dublin, Ireland. This film festival, with films as the carrier, driven by “One Belt, One Road” initiative, aims to faciliate cultural communication between China and Ireland and open a new chapter of Sino-Irish cultural exchange.
CIIFF, aiming to introduce the best Chinese filmmakers and film works to Ireland, brings Chinese films to Irish film stage while allowing the Irish audience to sense China more directly.
The CIIFF film screening session will include dozens of excellent dramas, documentaries and short films. We also publicly collect excellent short films from the film talents of both China and Ireland. For specific requirements, please refer to the “Short Film Competition Session” window.
In addition, the CIIFF will promote connections between Chinese film teams and those in Ireland, leading to in-depth exchanges on multi-faceted cooperation in the future. While promoting program cooperation, CIIFF also works as a communicative platform of film interchange for China and Ireland.
